Relationships Built Over Decades. Manufacturing Programs Built to Last.

S.O. Sales was founded by Susan, Sue, Ondovic in 1987, building on years of experience in purchasing, sales, and international sourcing. Sue recognized early that carefully selected and qualified manufacturers could provide OEMs with valuable capabilities and cost advantages.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, S.O. Sales developed a reputation serving manufacturers in the detection, fire suppression, and temperature control industries. As customers brought new requirements forward, the supplier network expanded with them—matching custom components with qualified manufacturers and ensuring requirements were clearly understood.

Repeated over decades, this disciplined process became the S.O. Sales model. Many of those relationships now span generations, with manufacturing partnerships dating back to the 1980s and built on quality, trust, communication, and mutual accountability.

A Focused Organization with Global Reach

S.O. Sales combines the responsiveness and accountability of a focused U.S.-based organization with the capabilities of an established global manufacturing network. Rather than being limited to a single factory, we match each program with the right manufacturing capabilities, materials, and expertise.

Our responsibility extends beyond production. S.O. Sales coordinates engineering, qualification, quality oversight, inventory, international logistics, and scheduled delivery as one managed process. Custom components can also be integrated into inventory and just-in-time delivery programs, helping customers maintain reliable supply without unnecessarily tying up capital in inventory.

Complex manufacturing. No surprises.

Dragon

Our Relationship with the Dragon

The dragon is an enduring symbol of protection, strength, wisdom, and good fortune. Often regarded as a benevolent guardian, it represents balance, prosperity, and harmony.

In 1987, Sue chose the dragon to represent S.O. Sales because those qualities reflected the role she believed the company should play: protecting what has been entrusted to it. She never took lightly the responsibility of fostering strong relationships and creating the conditions for everyone involved to prosper together.

That philosophy has remained at the heart of S.O. Sales ever since.
